Ted Bee – Marcos

Ted Bee returns with a “long” EP entitled “Marcos.”.

Rido spoke with him about his new record and how “militant” rap, now virtually nonexistent among the records being released these days, is the “third way” between mainstream and underground Griselda-style rap. Ted began his musical career around the age of 16 under the pseudonym Ted Bundy, collaborating with prominent artists in the Milanese rap scene such as Marracash and being part of the Dogo Gang collective. Over the years, Ted Bee has released several record works:
Mixtapes: Molotov Cocktail (2007) and De-Generation (2010)
Albums: WanTed (2009), Hundred and Ten and Praise (2011), The End of the World (2012) and Young Veteran (2013)
EP: Fuck the Middle Man (2015)
He has collaborated with numerous artists including Gué, Jake La Furia, and Vincenzo da via Anfossi. His lyrics range from social protest to storytelling, with references to politics, cinema and literature. He is also a big Milan fan and ultras.
