A planned October/November release (when it comes to releases, the months flow faster than summer vacation), an album as an adventure and confrontation with a difficult audience and market... I haven't been able to listen to anything yet, but I expect great things...

We will have to wait a few more months, and before the notes tell let us for a moment give the floor to the two main characters--their names! At least wait until the end and see if they are still the same!

Since we are already well underway (at least I understand) would you like to anticipate the title, if it already exists?

“No, the title of the album we do not anticipate.”

Okay no problem, but how come right now you decided to come out with an album?

“We made the album now because it was only now that we had clear ideas and had things to say, plus until now we were simply prevented from doing so... Now it's time to bring out our mmmerda... the other products went well, as they should have, so...”

In short, what will we find/find in this product?

“What should you expect from the album? Nothing, we expect it to be taken for what it is: Hip Hop to the bone, without too much spin. Lots of variety, stories to tell, but not before bedtime.”

Let's go a little deeper, revealing something.

“One year after “Under Siege” the Tigers return with a load of “Rhymes & Numbers” that people just don't expect. Pieces that might leave you unsettled, in terms of content and atmosphere, and that we honestly did not expect either. In one track there is the protagonist looking at life and telling about it in its crudest, but also insignificant aspects... another one that has as its topic the world of small labels and music realities treated from a point of view that will surely not see everyone agree... but that's our opinion, so don't fuck with us. We have in addition, it's clear, pieces to blow your asses off.”

When did you begin studio processing of the whole thing? “We have been working on the record since June, at Robba Coatta Department Store, with the invaluable support of Squarta at the wheel for beats, feeling and the right sound.”

What machines are you working with? “Squarta knows the machines. He's behind the buttons, we take care of the microphone.”

What will be the sound of this phantom record?

“All the bases were produced by Squarta, but there are also Ibbanez (formerly for “In Crescita”) and Cappuccino Bros. (formerly for “Rime & Numbers”). In all of them we simply found the sound that the rhymes needed.”

More and more synthetic then! But at what point are you - honestly!!!?

“The record is finished; it's missing some tweaking, mixing and shit...”

Satisfied?

“We are more than satisfied; if we weren't, not a dick would come out.”

What are the guests with you at the microphone?

“For features Funky Cabaret, Piotta, Tony Fine (Pooglia Tribe).”

We conclude with a message to the nation! “We came to the studio and were quiet, then we recorded the first piece and our dicks got hard... now it's time for you to enjoy it hard too... If anyone disagrees... patience... Grandi & Primo: Cor Veleno.”
